Five Rivers Conservation Trust is teaming up with Dimond Hill Farm for a behind the scenes tour of the farm operation and a tasting of fresh produce and recipes featuring the bounty from this year’s harvest. The event will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 5:30 – 7:30. Currier Museum of Art is pleased to announce that it has established its first-ever endowment to fund exhibitions. The Kimon and Anne Zachos Exhibition Fund will help support the Museum’s outstanding schedule of world-class art exhibitions for our community. Additional funds from his bequest will go to the Kimon S. Zachos Acquisition Fund, established in 1999 to sustain the Currier’s acquisitions of significant art. The announcement was made on March 20 during a celebration at the Currier to honor Arts patron and regional philanthropist, Kimon Zachos. Zachos died on December 31, 2014. He was 84. Read more →
For the sixth straight year, the Currier Museum of Art, New Hampshire’s premiere art museum, will receive funding from Lincoln Financial Foundation to help students in Manchester and Nashua visit. This year, the Foundation is contributing $11,000, giving underserved students in those cities access to our outstanding collection of European and American art and wide-ranging special exhibitions.
