Raymond, NH – The Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) announced today it will host the THRIVE Competition Series, a collection of business competitions that will provide money and momentum to help growing small businesses thrive in New Hampshire. To commemorate its 30th anniversary, REDC will award a total of $30,000 in grant prizes through four different competitions.

The first in the THRIVE Competition Series is a Business Plan Competition, which is now open for submission. New Hampshire companies at any stage are invited to submit applications by May 31, 2024, 5:00 pm Eastern Time. This competition series will be virtual, so there are no travel requirements for applicants. Applicants will submit their written business plan, which shall not exceed 15 pages/slides. The business plan competition will be judged virtually by experts in various fields of economic development, and the winner will receive a $5,000 award to grow their business. The winner will be announced on June 26, 2024.

New Hampshire businesses submitting to the competition can do so at www.redc.com/thrive

On May 15, 2024, at 10:00 am, REDC will host a Q&A webinar for businesses interested in learning more about the competition. Registration for this event is at www.redc.com/thrive.

Beyond a grand prize, applicants will have access to resources, which can be found at www.redc.com/thrive. These resources will assist applicants in developing their business plans and provide information on additional programs their business may be interested in accessing.

REDC President Laurel Adams stated, “For our 30th anniversary, we wanted to do something special that aligned with our mission. What better way to commemorate thirty years of supporting small businesses than by offering grants that can help Granite State businesses thrive? We believe this first competition will benefit the business that wins as well as all those who enter and work to develop and refine their business plans.”
