RAYMOND, N.H. -- The Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship and the Regional Economic Development Center (REDC) have partnered to start a new loan fund aimed at helping small businesses in the Monadnock Region grow and thrive. The Hannah Grimes Center Revolving Loan Fund (HGCRLF) makes loans between $5,000 and $50,000 and is available to new businesses and those seeking to grow or evolve their businesses.

The first loan from the HGCRLF has been made to Eagle Eye Air Support, a drone-based company based in Hinsdale, NH. Eagle Eye Air Support utilizes drones for aerial inspections, photography, and videography for residential and business needs, such as construction, real estate, agriculture, events, and engineering-based businesses. Grant Crandall, the owner of Eagle Eye Air Support, has extensive experience flying drones and is a FAA Part 107 certified unmanned aircraft pilot.

Financing provided by the HGCRLF will assist with purchasing equipment, marketing, and working capital. The Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship is providing Eagle Eye Air Support with business assistance and resources as well.

“We were excited to make a loan to Eagle Eye Air Support because funding will assist this start-up business in moving to the next level with new equipment which means they can offer more services,” stated REDC President Laurel Adams. “Eagle Eye Air Support has the opportunity to thrive in an industry that is projected to grow and we’re excited to see their progression.”

The HGCRLF furthers the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship’s mission of providing the space, tools, and connections that innovative entrepreneurs need to build strong businesses, thriving local economies, and vibrant communities in the Monadnock Region. The fund also supports REDC’s mission to promote responsible, sustainable economic development activities in Southern New Hampshire. By helping businesses access alternative financing for business and industrial expansion and relocations and create jobs for low to moderate income people, it also provides tax relief for our communities and our region.
