The New Hampshire Public Health Association (NHPHA) is pleased to announce that it has welcomed Suzanne Gaulocher, Associate Professor of Public Health and Director of the Center for Healthy Communities at Plymouth State University, to its Board of Directors for a one year term.
Ms. Gaulocher holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin at Madison where she was a part of the Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment focusing on the intersection of human and environmental health. She also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and a Master of Arts from Oregon State University in Applied Medical Anthropology. Her research and teaching centers around the intersection between human health and the environment with a focus on community engagement, social justice and health equity.
Ms. Gaulocher looks forward to serving on the NHPHA Board of Directors and using her expertise to help advance health equity in New Hampshire.
NHPHA is a statewide membership organization composed of professionals and others who have an interest in public health. For over 25 years, it has brought together members who share a common goal of making sure that New Hampshire citizens live, learn, work, and play in safe and healthy environments.
