The Friends of Mascoma Foundation board has announced the hiring of Eula Lee Kozma as the organization’s first Executive Director. Funding for this position was made possible by a private supporter who understood the pressing need for this role as the organization grows to meet the needs of this community. This generous designated gift will support the Executive Director position for three years.

Friday October 4th through Sunday October 7th, NHTI, Concord's Community College will join venues around the globe in hosting the 22nd Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival - a worldwide competition to select the best short films of 2019. Throughout the week, theatres in over 400 cinemas worldwide will be screening the ten finalists in this year-long competition. Every viewer will have the opportunity to rate the ten films, and all votes count towards choosing the winner.

Funding for the DSH Program and FQHCs Set to Expire Unless Congress Acts
On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, the New Hampshire Institute for Civics Education (“NHICE”) will screen To Kill a Mockingbird as part of a multi-year statewide program designed to foster conversations with the public on law, justice, and civics. The screening will take place from 5:30- 8:30 p.m.. Keene State College Student Centerin Keene, New Hampshire. There will be a break midway through the movie, and a light snack will be provided. The program was made possible with support from New Hampshire Humanities, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Humanities.
