Arts and Creativity Summit coming to Concord on May 30th

CONCORD, N.H. –Concord will play host to the 7th Annual Advocacy Summit, presented by Arts4NH, on May 30th from 1 to 5:30 pm at the New Hampshire Historical Society, on Park Street.
The event celebrates the role played by arts and creativity in New Hampshire’s creative economy, featuring insight into the art advocacy efforts in the Granite State. There will be a panel discussion on Successful Advocacy Strategies for Building Local Awareness, to be moderated by Nicki Clarke - Executive Director, Capitol Center for the Arts and Senator Shannon Chandley will be the keynote speaker.
The program also includes a talk by Nina Ozlu Tunceli, from the Americans for the Arts organization, about Building a Strategy around the NH Presidential Primary, a key moment in the Granite State’s political agenda. After a short coffee break, members of the 5 Executive Council Districts will present their successes in art project cases.
Following the talks and presentations, Arts4NH will announce the Arts Advocate of the Year, an award that recognizes a leader in the arts community who demonstrates forward thinking and enthusiasm for the arts. To wrap up the evening, a reception will be held at 4:30 featuring a performance of the father and son duo Fiddling Thomsons. Sign up to attend at
