Concord, NH--The McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center’s April Super Stellar Friday will feature a DOUBLE planetarium show on April 5th! The first show will be a special showing of Dawn of the Space Age in honor of Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space. Yuri Gagarin is celebrated each year on April 12th, on the anniversary of man’s first journey into space. The second show will be Tonight’s Sky, led by our Education Coordinator, Sarah Beattie. The double planetarium show will happen during the Discovery Center’s Super Stellar Friday event where the Center is open extra hours every first Friday of the month from 6:30-9:30 PM with special programming.
Doors open at 6:30 PM. The first planetarium show will begin at 7 PM. Make sure to be at the Center on time. Once the planetarium doors close, they will not open until the show is over. There will be a short break between shows.
