Currier After Hours: Celebrating Community

Currier image

This not-to-be missed celebration will be free and open to the public and will feature a wonderful mix of art, live music with local talent Mike Dunbar, and an awards ceremony to honor New Hampshire Artist Laureate Gary Samson. The night will also celebrate our commitment to providing underserved populations with meaningful opportunities to engage with and make art. For example, it is with the support of area businesses and foundations that we provide the opportunity for public school children to visit the Currier Museum of Art for the first time, work with Easterseals NH to bring together people with dementia and their caregivers for weekly art making sessions, and offer developmentally disabled adults an opportunity to pursue their artistic endeavors each week at the Currier Art Center. Join us as we thank our community outreach supporters and celebrate our community! All are welcome. FREE general admission. Many thanks to our supporters who make these programs possible and to the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts for partnering with us on this fun event. 603-669-6144
