Concord, NH – The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is offering seven week-long science and engineering camps this summer, for kids ages 5 – 14. The first camp, Engineering Extravaganza, is already in session, but there are six more to choose from:
The week of July 10 -14, kids ages 5-7 have a choice of two camps: Solar System Space Explorers from 9 a.m. to noon, and Junior Flyers, 1 – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday.
July 17 – 21, kids ages 10 – 14 can spend Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. engaged in Robots!, learning to code and program Lego Mindstorms robots.
Rocketry is the theme July 24-28, with the Discovery Center’s 3-2-1 Blast Off! camp for 8-12 year olds, Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
8-12-year-olds will also enjoy Sun and Stars, an astronomy camp taking place Monday – Friday, July 31 – August 4 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The camp season wraps up with Destination: Earth, a summer camp focused on Earth science for 10 – 14-year-olds, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Discovery Center is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week, from Friday June 16 to Labor Day, plus the first Friday night each month from 6:30-9:30 p.m. (closed on 4th of July and Labor Day).
