HANOVER, N.H. – Communities across New Hampshire are looking for creative solutions to meet the needs of the state’s aging population. A discussion on May 1 at the Hanover Inn will focus on these shifts and ways cities and towns can introduce policies that help create communities that are stable as they age.
Steve Norton, Executive Director of the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy Studies, will speak about the demographic changes facing New Hampshire, as well as the Upper Valley and the Town of Hanover, and how these changes can be addressed through public policy, local planning, and other means. New policies proposed by Hanover to help the town adjust to future changes in population will also be addressed.
The event will be on May 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Hanover Inn. Seating is limited so please RSVP to (603) 653-8519 or www.hanoversilver.splashthat.com. The event is sponsored by the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce and Kendal at Hanover.
