Blues Night under the Stars at McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center


Come soothe your soul with a night of Blues under the Stars featuring the Bruce Marshall Group at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center on Friday, March 13 from 6:30-11 PM. Grab a drink at the cash bar, a plate of hors d’oeuvres, sit back and enjoy the powerful music that has spanned decades, all while in a place where the history of the stars spans eons. The evening includes a silent auction with a variety of blues memorabilia and tickets to premiere sporting events.  All proceeds benefit the DiscoveryCenter. $20/person. The Boston-based Bruce Marshall Group is a dynamic band whose songs range from blues to R&B to Southern Boogie. The heart and soul of the band is the interplay between Bruce and long-time guitarist Dave Cornoyer as they rip through a catalog of original material.  Marshall has played over 8,000 shows nationwide, in a duo with James Montgomery, in partnership with Toy Caldwell of the Marshall Tucker Band, and more. The Bruce Marshall Group’s unique delivery of a multitude of sounds will leave you lost in the music for the night.


The McAuliffe-ShepardDiscoveryCenter features 21st century interactive exhibits on aviation, astronomy, Earth and space sciences, a state-of-the-art planetarium and a variety of science, technology, and engineering and mathematics programs.
