March for Coverage Covering New Hampshire is going to cities and towns in the Lakes Region to help Granite Staters enroll in affordable healthcare

Laconia – To help New Hampshire residents who are uninsured find affordable coverage, Covering New Hampshire will be hosting Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment events throughout the Lakes Region during the month of March.
Open enrollment on the Marketplace closes on March 31 and those who have not enrolled in a health insurance plan by this date will not be able to enroll in a Marketplace plan again until October, when the next open enrollment period begins. Covering New Hampshire enrollment events are focused on providing important health insurance information to uninsured consumer and the community. They will include a brief overview of the Affordable Care Act and an opportunity to access HealthCare.gov through on-site computers with the help of a local Navigator or Marketplace Assister.
Covering New Hampshire has already held dozens of events across the state to help people enroll, many in connection with community health organizations that serve thousands of New Hampshire patients each year. There are 40 more events scheduled this month, at least one each day. Below is a list of events being held in the Lakes Region.

Covering New Hampshire is the official, free resource for Granite Staters to learn about the Health Insurance Marketplace and the new, affordable health insurance plans that are now available. Covering New Hampshire aims to help people understand the new health care law and assist in connecting people with Health Insurance Marketplace. The organization also connects people with in-person assisters who will help them enroll and with organizations that can help them get coverage.
