Hear acclaimed photojournalist James Nachtwey discuss how the images of the Vietnam War influenced his decision to become a documentary photographer and his goal to bring “a voice to those who otherwise would not have a voice.” Nachtwey is the subject of the Academy Award nominated documentary War Photographer and is known for his powerful images of war, disease and poverty. Nachtwey has chronicled, combat in Afghanistan, Chechnya and Kosovo, genocide in Rwanda and the events of September 11, 2001 in New York City. $3 Students, $7 Members, $10 Non-Members, Free for Currier Society members.
