Isobel Parke to receive Yankee Chapter PRSA Lifetime Achievement Award

Concord, NH -Isobel Parke will be given the Yankee Chapter PRSA Lifetime Achievement Awards on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Red River Theatres, in Concord. Isobel Parke, APR, Fellow PRSA will be recognized for her brilliant work in communications at the Annual Meeting of the Yankee Chapter.  

Parke is president of Jackson Jackson & Wagner (JJ&W) and has been a member of the firm since 1963. Isobel’s expertise is in issue anticipation and analysis, community coalition building, environmental programs for both business and non-profit, and crisis containment. She has had many years of public relations consulting experience ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to starving non-profits. Isobel has counseled numerous independent schools on a wide variety of critical situations, environmental coalitions on campaign strategies and land conservation, healthcare organizations concerned with mergers and restructuring, and industries ranging from utilities to waste management. Isobel is an accredited member and fellow of the Public Relations Society of America and served as their national secretary.

Isobel graduated from the Winsor School in Boston, and received an MA in Modern History from Oxford University in the U.K. She was then a teacher in Germany, Kenya and China. This background brings to JJ&W first hand experience of cultural differences.

The Yankee Chapter is comprised of professionals who work in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
