NEW HAMPTON, NH - Over 40 barn enthusiasts gathered at Rockledge Farm on June 18 for the first of two barn preservation workshops sponsored by the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance at the New Hampton farm. Workshop participants explored the late 18th century frame with barn contractor Ian Blackman to assess its condition and discuss repair options and solutions to develop a restoration plan. Blackman will conduct a second workshop on October 1 to discuss how he implemented the plan and how it was adapted as the restoration progressed.
