A Rally for New Hampshire

WHAT: Rally for New Hampshire with thousands of people from all over the Granite State to call for the NH Senate to start over and build a budget that truly uses our resources to the benefit of all NH residents.

WHERE: State House Plaza, Concord, NH

WHEN: Thursday, March 31 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

WHY: As the House meets Thursday in full session to vote on its version of the State budget, thousands of people from all over the state and all walks of life will converge on Concord to speak out in favor of a more compassionate state budget.

Former legislators, clergy, law enforcement, parents of children with disabilities, young people overcoming substance use, child health services, organized labor, environmental, arts organizations and mental health supporters will be represented.

Their message: We understand fiscal responsibility, but this budget is reckless. The Senate should throw it out and start over. In its current form, the budget passes the buck and the responsibility on to the towns, counties, and healthcare providers – and then to the taxpayers and businesses of our state. People are more important than politics. New Hampshire can do better.
