WHAT: "FULFILLING THE PROMISE: Transforming New Hampshire's Mental Health System," a Legislative Breakfast Briefing on a report by The NH Mental Health Commission.

WHERE: St. Paul's Church, 21 Centre Street, Concord

WHEN: Thursday, January 31, with program starting at 7:30 a.m.

WHY: Representative James R. MacKay, Chairman of the Commission will provide an overview. Steve Norton, President of the New Hampshire Center for Public Policy; Lisa Mercado, Co-Chairman of the work team on Consumer and Family Driven Services and Commissioner Nicholas Toumpas of DHHS will discuss the report and its implementation. There will be a discussion on the development of a legislative caucus. This briefing is an opportunity for those familiar with the issues to hear the results of a two-year study on the public/private delivery of mental health services in New Hampshire, or could serve as a helpful primer for newer reporters and editors.
