Waterville Valley will celebrate the end of summer with a whole weekend of fun during their End of Summer Dash & Bash over Labor Day weekend, September 5-7. The Hobo Railroad in Lincoln will showcase their "Cornstalk Critters" from September 19 - October 18. These life-sized characters, created by the Annalee Doll Company in Meredith, New Hampshire, will grace the grounds of the Hobo Junction station. This year's theme, "Scarecrows of Sound," features likenesses of some popular music giants, such as the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger and many others. The trip will provide a new perspective of the Merrimack River. MARSHFIELD STATION, NH - The Mount Washington Cog Railway is open for its 146th season of bringing visitors to the summit of the Northeast's highest peak. Once again this year, the Cog is offering the popular Summit Photo Tour.
