FREE Summer Camps for High School Juniors and Seniors at NHTI

CONCORD— This summer NHTI-Concord’s Community College (NHTI) is offering numerous summer camp opportunities for high school juniors and seniors to explore college or career topics such as Nursing, and STEM topics: Robotics, Science, and Information Technology. 

The following camps are funded by a Carl Perkins grant and are free.  Registration is required. Visit and select “Summer Camp” for more information and to register.


Nursing Boot Camp – June 22 -26, 9 am-3 pm

For rising high school juniors and seniors, enrolled in a Career and Technical Education program through their high school, who are interested in exploring nursing as a career possibility.  Get a head start on the application process for the NHTI Nursing Program with this Boot Camp.

Participants will explore the role of the nurse and nursing as a career, through fun, interactive activities in the simulation lab with manikin patients, medications and bedside care activities, American Heart Healthcare Provider CPR training, responding to emergencies, exploring Public and Mental/Behavioral health nursing issues, and identifying the many specialty options available in nursing. 


STEM Camp - June 24-26, 9 am-1 pm

For rising high school juniors and seniors, enrolled in a Career and Technical Education program through their high school: Sign up for one day or all. Hands on learning projects and career exploration will be included each day.

June 24 – Explore Robotics

June 25 – Explore Science

June 26 – Explore Information Technology

Nursing TEAS Prep Course – June 29-July 21, Monday and Tuesdays, 6-9 pm

For rising high school juniors and seniors enrolled in a Career and Technical Education program through their high school and who are interested in applying for the NHTI Nursing program. This program provides an intensive content overview and reinforces the skills and knowledge necessary for success on the TEAS Main_Street_Concord_NH_Jan_2017
admission exam. The TEAS exam will be July 27th-August 7th, 2020.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) College Day – August 18, 9 am -3 pm

For newly accepted NHTI students and those interested in attending NHTI whose first language is not English. This is an opportunity to enroll in courses, meet NHTI faculty and students, learn what it is like to be a student at NHTI, explore the campus, get your Parking Pass and understand what supports are available. Early College for High School Level Students

Additionally, NHTI’s Early College program is offering opportunities to earn college credit this summer through the following courses: Environmental Science, Meteorology, Physics I, Pre-Calculus, and Quantitative Reasoning. Earn college credit and pay half the cost of NH Resident tuition rates per credit at NHTI.  Students will need to enroll in the Early College program and should contact Mark Bograd, Advisor to the Early College program at (603) 271-6484 ext. 4029.
