Meet Joseph Burbach - Chief Concierge

The Hotel Concord has promoted Joseph Burbach to Chief Concierge a year after he joined the hotel as a full-time employee.  Joseph knows excellent customer service begins long before guests arrive in the lobby. The booking experience is as important as our high-quality accommodations, Joseph states.

 

“First impressions are everything,” said Joseph. “I truly love the hospitality business”.

 

Joseph, 26, studied Hotel and Lodging Management at Johnson and Wales University. The Hotel Concord recruited him for a front-desk concierge position shortly after opening in August 2018. Joseph successfully completed the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Certified Hospitality Concierge Program in April of 2019.  In June of 2019 the hotel was awarded the prestigious honor of a 4-diamond rating from AAA.  Joseph works diligently on a daily basis to help guests with everything from restaurant recommendations and entertainment options to transportation and corporate client services.

 

Joe uses his free time to explore areas of New Hampshire he’s never been to in order to better serve his guests.  Joe grew up in Vermont and northern New Hampshire. While attending White Mountain Regional High School he participated in a vocational program called the Mountain View Academy that led him to Mountain View Grand Resort and Spa in Whitefield NH.  Joseph continued on at the Resort after finishing high school during summers and college breaks from Johnson and Wales. Joseph now lives in Concord.

 

Joseph enjoys his responsibilities as Concierge and works daily to promote the function spaces and guest rooms for one-day meetings and corporate retreats.

 

The two third-floor function rooms offer downtown views, high-speed internet and audiovisual equipment. The New Hampshire Room is the larger of the two with a capacity of 225 people for a cocktail reception, or 150 for a seated event. The Concord Room has a capacity of 85 people for a cocktail reception or 50 for a seated event. O Steak and Seafood provides a variety of food and beverage options for any event booked at The Hotel Concord.

 

The hotel offers 38 hotel rooms are each unique and offer high-speed internet, wall-mounted 55 to 65-inch flat-screen HD televisions and Alexa enabled devices.
