Join the Discovery Center on Tuesday November 19 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM for Paint and Sip night. Follow step-by-step instructions from a professional artist on how to paint a 16”x20” canvas. Registration is $25 per person, and there will be a cash bar so you can sip while you paint. When you are done with your masterpiece, the Discovery Center is open for FREE until 9:30PM. This is a 21+ event.
On Saturday November 30, 2019, the Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports Program will kick off the holiday season with the 7th annual Cold Turkey Plunge into the icy mountain waters of Corcoran Pond in the heart of Waterville Valley. The Plunge is the major fund raiser supporting WVAS activities. All donations go directly to provide snow sports opportunities for persons with cognitive and physical disabilities.
Joseph, 26, studied Hotel and Lodging Management at Johnson and Wales University. The Hotel Concord recruited him for a front-desk concierge position shortly after opening in August 2018. Joseph successfully completed the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Certified Hospitality Concierge Program in April of 2019. In June of 2019 the hotel was awarded the prestigious honor of a 4-diamond rating from AAA. Joseph works diligently on a daily basis to help guests with everything from restaurant recommendations and entertainment options to transportation and corporate client services.

On Friday, October 25, the Waterville Valley Recreation Department will host a Pumpkin Carving & Pizza Party. This is a great family night out from 5:30-7:30 p.m. where you can carve and decorate your own pumpkin while enjoying pizza and other fall treats. The cost is only $10 per family. Explore the Center's exhibits and galleries after hours at this 21+ event for FREE! A cash bar and the Countdown Cafe will be open with Halloween goodies for purchase.
