Waterville Valley, NH --On Saturday, August 4, Waterville Valley’s Annual Ugotta Regatta returns to the waters of Corcoran Pond. The free canoe, kayak and paddle boat races will be held at a five-acre lake, next to Town Square.
The event starts at 9:30 a.m. with free supplies provided for the onsite boat-building workshop at the Corcoran Pondbeach. All boats must be made of tape and cardboard. Then kayak and canoe boat races will take place immediately following the boat “oughtta float” contest, which begins at 11 a.m.
At noon, there’s a Craft Brew Sampling hosted by Amoskeag Beverages, with live music from Family Affair. And join us for some fun on the water with our new Aqua Lily Pads and classic water games taking place between 1p.m and 3p.m. Then at the end of the day, the Amanda McCarthy Trio will entertain you from 6 to 9 p.m.
