Free New Hampshire Second Saturday

New Hampshire residents receive free museum general admission before noon, courtesy of The Botnick Family Foundation and E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaners. Stop by to browse the galleries and enjoy creative studio.


Creative Studio: Poster Design

Saturday, December 9, 10 am to 1 pm

Free admission for NH residents: 10 am to noon

Explore the posters and beautiful designs in the special exhibition, The Paris of Toulouse-Lautrec then design your own poster using simple printmaking techniques. Adults and children are welcome to drop by one of the Museum’s studio spaces to participate. Sponsored by the Botnick Family Foundation and E&R Laundry and Dry Cleaning.


Caroling in the Galleries

Saturday, December 9, noon to 1:30 pm

Free admission for NH residents: 10 am to noon

The Manchester Choral Society is back for another season of caroling! Drop by the Museum to enjoy their beautiful voices as you stroll through the galleries or enjoy a full menu in the Winter Garden Café. Free with general admission, $5 special exhibition charge for Not-Yet-Members to view The Paris of Toulouse-Lautrec. Come early to participate in an art making activity, 10 am to 1 pm.


Makers Day at the Art Center

Saturday, December 9, 9:30 am to 3 pm

Take a break from it all and join us at the Art Center for a relaxing art-making day. Create fun and useful art pieces to give as gifts or use for yourself to complement the season. Select from a variety of art workshops offered during three separate time slots throughout the day. Enjoy Painted Canvas Placemats and Place Cards, Felt Stockings, and Pattern, Doodle and Tangle Squares from 9:30 am to 11 am. Alcohol Ink Tiles and Painted Ornaments from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Also explore Gift Bags, Tags and Cards, Painted Ornaments, and Felt Stockings from 1:30 to 3 pm. $15 per workshop. Preregistration is required at Call 603-518-4922 or email for more information.


Visitor Information

The Museum’s entrance is located at 150 Ash Street and free parking is available in the on-site lot. Museum hours are Sunday, Monday, Wednesday through Friday 11 am to 5 pm, Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, with extended hours until 9 pm during Currier After Hours events, typically the first Thursday of each month. Closed Tuesdays and December 25. General Admission to the Museum is always free for children 12 and younger, Museum Members, and all active duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. Special exhibition charges still apply.
