Wonderful and wacky ways to meet Santa in NH!

Santa rides a dogsled?
On November 25th at 3:30 p.m. Santa and his elves will ride into the Waterville Valley Town Square, NH, pulled by a team of sled dogs from The Valley Snowdogz. Santa will be bearing gifts and candy for each child who comes to visit him in the Adventure Center located in Town Square. Parents are welcome to take photos of their children with Santa. Hot cocoa and cookies will be on hand. Suggested donation, from those who are able, of $5 per child/$10 per family will benefit the Whole Village Family Resource Center in Plymouth, NH.
Finally, be sure to stay for the tree lighting ceremony at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Square, followed by a spectacular fireworks display over Corcoran Pond.
Ride the Mountain Snow Train with Santa
The Mount Washington Cog Railway is inviting Santa Claus to ride the snow train as part of a festive Family Holiday Weekend at Mount Washington.
Santa will be riding on three trips each day of the weekend at 10:30 am, 12 noon and 1:30 pm. The round trip half-way up the mountain to Kro-flite Kamp, takes approximately one hour. Passengers can get off the train at this half-way point and take photos of the train with Santa, before heading back down to Marshfield Base Station.
Santa will have a special gift for every child on the trip, and on return to Marshfield Base Station, visitors can enjoy complimentary cookies, hot cocoa and mulled cider, gather by the fireplace, and join in the family fun.
There will be all kinds of fun activities going on at the Station for the whole family including a reading of "The Little Engine That Could," fun games with prizes such as "Pin the Nose on the Snowman," Cog trivia, puzzles and more.
