Star Trek Memorabilia, Aviation Photography on Display at McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center to Celebrate Star Trek Beyond

Concord, NH – In celebration of the upcoming international release of Star Trek Beyond this week, the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center has once again put its collection of classic Star Trek memorabilia on display. Joining the display of real artifacts from Star Trek: The Movie and Star Trek: Next Generation, the memorabilia includes items loaned by community members, including the Center’s avid Trekkie, Executive Director Jeanne T. Gerulskis.

Also on display at the Discovery Center is A Focus on Aviation – Photography Contest & Exhibit, a special exhibition of winning submissions to the NH Department of Transportation and Granite State Airport Management Association’s statewide aviation photography contest. Selected out of over 250 entries for their creativity and uniqueness, the prizewinning aviation photographs are touring the state this summer, courtesy the NH Pilots Association and the National Business Aviation Association. They will be on display at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center through July 27.

The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center features 21st century interactive exhibits on aviation, astronomy, Earth and space sciences, a state-of-the-art planetarium and a variety of science, technology, and engineering and mathematics programs.
