Waterville Valley, NH --Waterville Valley Resort has announced a new tubing experience for the 2013/14 winter season. A snow tubing venue is under construction on a hill adjacent to the Waterville Valley Golf Course, near the resort’s Town Square and hotels. When complete next month, there will be four dedicated tubing lanes. The Tubing Clubhouse & Warming Center will offer assorted snacks and beverages, including beer, wine, and hot chocolate, homemade soups, and chili, as well as an outdoor fire pit. The Clubhouse will serve as the perfect warming location after both tubing and Nordic skiing. Tickets for tubing will be available at The Clubhouse for $10 per hour. The new tubing hill will be weather and natural snowfall dependent. Once conditions permit, the tubing hill will be open on Fridays from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and during holiday periods.
The new tubing hill on the valley floor (parking at the golf clubhouse) will open during Christmas week (weather and conditions permitting).
