Waterville Valley to Offer Unique Dog Sledding Tours

Waterville Valley, NH- Waterville Valley Resort has created a new dogsled program that will begin running in late December. The “Snow Dogz” program offers a choice of two excursions that will run every Friday and Saturday evening through the end of March. Guests have the opportunity to experience the unique tours by moonlight or headlight. Guests can expect to meet the trail guide and the dogs before the tour begins. Waterville Valley to Host 2012 Adaptive Alpine National Championships

Waterville Valley, N.H. (December 20, 2011) – Waterville Valley Resort announced today that the United States Olympic Committee has awarded Waterville Valley the 2012 US Adaptive Alpine national Championships, January 10-13, 2012. Merrimack County Savings Bank will give a free Holiday Pops CD to anyone who drops off a gift for Toys for Tots at any of its branch offices between now and Thursday (while supplies last). The CD was recorded at last year’s Holiday Pops Concert at the Capitol Center for the Arts and features original arrangements by music director and conductor Clayton Poole performed by the New England Wind Symphony and the Concord Chorale.
