Waterville Valley, NH- There is nothing like fall in New England. Waterville Valley Resort’s Fall Foliage Festival will be full of color Friday through Monday, October 7th – 10th, 2011. 13th Annual Chili Challenge combines with Storytelling Festival at Waterville Valley

Waterville Valley, NH- Things heat up at Waterville Valley Resort’s 13th Annual Chili Challenge, held from noon until the chili is gone, Saturday October 1st in Town Square. Waterville Valley area restaurants will have the chance to compete for the title of the King of Chili. Visitors will pay a small fee, which gives them access to sample all of the restaurant entries. After sampling each chili, guests can vote for their favorite. Free outdoor concert in the gazebo accompanies the cook-off. A Countrywide Journey Brings Local Chef Back Home

Holderness, NH – After exploring the culinary world of Oregon, California, the South and celebrities, Executive Chef Peter Sheedy, couldn’t resist an opportunity to return home. Born in Bethlehem, New Hampshire, Sheedy first gained experience working in the hospitality industry during the busy summers in Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee. Last Chance to See Shifting Terrain: Landscape Video At the Currier Museum of Art through Sept. 18

The Ghoullog at Cranmore Mountain Set to Scare Again in 2011

North Conway, NH- Cranmore Mountain is bringing fear to those brave enough to attend The Ghoullog starting September 30, 2011. Visit Waterville Valley for the 13th Annual Chili Challenge

The 13th Annual Chili Challengewill be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 1 in Town Square at Waterville Valley. Waterville Valley area restaurants will compete for the title of the best chili around. Attendees are required to pay a small sampling fee to taste each of the contenders’ entries, and then they can vote for their favorite chili.
