The Mount Washington’s cruise season runs May October, with the May 13 Mothers DayCruise the start of the season. Each year the 230-foot boat offers daily scenic cruises as well as evening dinner and dance cruises from the ship’s summer homeport of Weirs Beach.

The 140+year history of the popular cruise ship began with the Mount Washington I which plied the water of the big lake until 1939.  Today’s vessel, the motor-ship Mount Washington, started her career on Vermont’s 31318283_1688023367900125_3563012836202381312_n

Once just a summer attraction, the family-owned Mount now operates May through October, offering daytime scenic, evening dinner & dance, and special themed cruises.  With a capacity of 1,250 passengers, the Mount serves as the largest restaurant in the state and a popular gathering point for school proms, college reunions, large corporate celebrations and weddings.
