JENN COLELLA offers MasterClass this October 9th.  The date of the Vocal Masterclass is Monday, October 9th - 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Capitol Center for the Arts.
JENN COLELLA MasterClass REGISTRATION is now open.  All spots will be offered on a first come/first Serve basis and will be limited to a maximum of 25 participants.  The cost  to participate in this masterclass is $100.

This is your chance to work with Broadway Star JENN COLELLA in a Masterclass and get tips
on how to improve your vocal performance.  Participants will be asked to prepare and sing a song of their choice for individual critique.  There will also be a Q&A session with Jenn and an informal lunch break to visit with other singers and their families. (Lunch is not provided)
MASTERCLASS AUDIENCE: If you would like to observe the Masterclass and learn from or support those on stage, tickets will be sold for $10.  Tickets will be sold at the door or online at soon.
PREPARATION: If you are new to RB please send a short video (from your phone) to and if you have participated with RB in the past you will NOT need to send an audition video.  Every participant should prepare approx. 32 measures from a song of your choice WITH SHEET MUSIC.  I will send along information about a rehearsal with our accompanist.

Jenn Colella is a Tony Award nominee for her role as Capt. Beverley Bass in COME FROM AWAY on Broadway.  That role garnered Jenn a San Diego Theatre Critics Circle Award, a Helen Hayes Award, Torono's My Theatre Award, a Dora Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award, and the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical.

Jenn attended Columbia College in her home state of South Carolina and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Drama.  During her undergraduate years she accrued a number of professional acting credits as a company member of Trustus Theater. Later she journeyed to California on scholarship as a Chancellor's fellow and earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of California, Irvine.  After graduate school, she remained in Los Angeles and pursued a career in standup comedy.  She was a regular at The Comedy Store and at The Laugh Factory in Hollywood.

Colella's first starring role on Broadway was in 2003, as Sissy in URBAN COWBOY.  Her performance earned her an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination.  Other starring roles on Broadway include Laura in HIGH FIDELITY (opposite Will Chase), Hedda Hopper in CHAPLIN (opposite Rob McClure), and she just concluded a year long run of IF/THEN at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (opposite LaChanze & Idina Menzel).  Her Off-Broadway credits include SLUT, THE MUSICAL (opposite Andy Karl), DON'T QUIT YOUR NIGHT JOB, BEEBO BRINKER CHRONICLES (opposite Marin Ireland), LUCKY GUY (opposite Kyle Dean Massey) and the acclaimed revival of Maltby and Shire's CLOSER THAN EVER.

Some of her other favorite roles to date include Kiki in KIKI BABY (directed by Lonny Price), for which she earned an Outstanding Individual Performance Award at the NYMF festival, Annie Oakley in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (PCLO), Peter Pan in PETER PAN (Sacramento Music Circus), Daisy Hilton in SIDESHOW (Kennedy Center), and Georgie in THE FULL MONTY (PaperMill Playhouse) with Elaine Stritch.

In television, Jenn has had guest starring roles on Cashmere Mafia (ABC), Rescue Me (FX), Can You Tell (Oxygen), All My Children (ABC) ,The Good Wife (CBS), Elementary (CBS), and she had a recurring role as Val on Feed the Beast (FX) opposite David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess.  She starred opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the indie crime drama thriller film  Uncertainty (IFC Films).

Jenn has taught master classes at NYU, New York Film Academy, Juilliard, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Columbia University, and many other universities throughout the country.
