Damien appointed President and COO of Hitchiner Manufacturing

Milford, NH -- The Board of Directors of Hitchiner Manufacturing Co., Inc. (“Hitchiner” or the “Company”), has appointed Mark Damien to be its President & Chief Operating Officer.


Mark’s responsibilities will include oversight of the company’s recently launched lean initiative and the corporate controller, accounting staffs and systems for both US and Mexico operations. He will continue to play an active role in setting direction for technology development and implementation and in the creation of strategies to better position the Company.

“Since joining the Company as Chief Operating Officer in September of 2015, Mark has provided leadership for several initiatives that have improved yields and part quality, improved on time delivery performance, and created new business opportunities, which has resulted in two successful years for the company”, said John H. Morison, III Chairman & CEO. “These efforts have resulted in a strong foundation on which to build for the future.”

Hitchiner currently has 637 employees in Milford. Over the past decade, the Company’s Milford operations have become one of the most environmentally balanced in the state. Hitchiner supports the automotive, aerospace and defense markets by working with companies like Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, General Motors Pratt&Whitney, Rolls Royce and Lockheed Martin.
