Waterville Valley Resort, NH- For 21 consecutive years The Special Olympics Winter Games have been coming to Waterville Valley Resort and were held again this year during March 5-7. Events include Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snowshoeing. 261 athletes from all over the state were competing in this year’s Special Olympics. More than 250 volunteers were making the Games happen. The Games are always supported by MH State Police, Laconia, Merrimack, Nashua, and Waterville Valley Police.
