The Margret & H.A. Rey Center hosts its Annual Gala Dinner & Auction on February 11th

The Margret and H.A. Rey Center is holding its annual fundraising Gala Dinner & Auction on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Waterville Valley Resort Conference Center in Waterville Valley, NH.

This year’s event will feature dinner and dancing to the live music of the Bedford Big Band.  There will also be a live and silent auction.  All Gala proceeds directly support the Rey Center’s programming.

Margret and H.A. Rey, authors of the Curious George children’s books, were summer residents of Waterville Valley.  The Reys were artists and adventurers, historians and naturalists, gardeners and stewards. Today their pursuits live on in the Margret and H.A. Rey Center at the Curious George Cottage in Waterville Valley (the Reys’ former summer home).  The Rey Center is a nonprofit organization that honors the Reys’ spirit of curiosity and discovery by increasing understanding of and participation in art, science and nature programs for youth, adults and families.

Support the Rey Center and enjoy and evening of friendship, dance, adventure, and fun.  Tickets can be purchased on www.biddingforgood.com/thereycenter2017 or by calling The Rey Center at (603) 236-3308.

For more information on the Rey Center Gala Dinner & Auction, please contact Stacy Luke at 603-236-3308 or email sluke@thereycenter.org.
