Waterville Valley Resort, NH– Waterville Valley Resort has announces that Peter Weber, Snowsports Director at Waterville Valley Resort, received the Einar Aas Award for Excellence in Snowsports School Management from the Professional Ski Instructors of American and American Association of Snowboard Instructors Eastern Division. This award recognizes dynamic leadership and achievement, the highest honor in snowsports schools throughout the country.

Peter Weber

Peter Weber (lovingly known as Webbie) started working at Waterville Valley as a line instructor in the early 1980's, and became the Snowsports Director at Waterville Valley Resort in 1999. Weber manages more than 180 employees, oversees the alpine and snowboard rental shops, childcare, guest services, ski check, as well as all Snowsports program areas, and helps ski patrol do their end of day sweep.

“What is the secret of my success? Loving what you do. Everybody who works here loves to share the passion of sliding on snow. It isn’t an ego thing. It’s all about getting a great feeling by making somebody ski or snowboard better” – Weber comments about his outstanding career at Waterville Valley Resort.

Peter Weber’s successful leadership has allowed Waterville Valley Resort’s Ski School to achieve national recognition and become one of the best places in the country for people to learn to ski and snowboard. Waterville Valley Resort is proud of Peter Weber’s longtime accomplishments, and his continued dedication to delivering high-quality services for their guests.
