Saturday, October 8 and 15, 10 a.m.-noon New Hampshire residents receive free Museum general admission before noon on the second Saturday of each month.

Stop by and browse the galleries. Bonus this month, enjoy an additional free Saturday on October 15. There is a $5 special exhibition fee to see the Mount Washington exhibition. Members are free.

Focus Tour: Mount Washington The Crown of New England Saturday, October 8, 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a guided tour of Mount Washington: The Crown of New England with one of our docent educators. Stay afterward for lunch in the Winter Garden Café. This program is part of our New Hampshire free Saturday.

Museum Mountaineering Saturday, October 15, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Come explore the Currier’s new exhibition, Mount Washington: The Crown of New England. Hear Hardtacks bring history to life through graphic novels, song and storytelling. Become a botanist as you document plant life. If the weather is nice, you can also try your hand at painting outside with a working artist available to guide you and answer questions. This day has something for all ages and is sure to excite the explorer in you. $5 special exhibition charge applies for Not-Yet-Members that are 13 years and older to view Mount Washington: The Crown of New England. Museum general admission free to New Hampshire residents before noon on this day as part of our New Hampshire Free Saturday program. *The Hardtacks performance will take place at 11 a.m. and tickets will be available on a first come first serve basis on the day of the event. The art making components of the day will happen continuously from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
